Tamarillo and Bacon Stir Fry 1 large kumara, chopped2 Onions , chopped 5 rashers of Bacon, sliced into strips Stir fry until nearly cooked then add: 1 tblsp finely chopped ginger Turn heat down and very gently simmer with a lid on until cabbage is cooked. Lightly toss and serve with rice and whole boiled small beetroots. |

Tamarillo Cream Crepes 4 cups fresh peeled sliced and sprinkled in sugar tamarillos1 - 14 oz (375ml) can of sweetened condensed milk 1/4 cup lemon juice 1/2 cup heavy cream , whipped 12 dessert crepes Beat milk with lemon juice until thick. Fold in sliced tamarillo and whipped cream. Divide among crepes, and fold. Garnish with additional whipped cream and a slice of tamarillo or kiwi fruit on top. 6 servings.

Tamarillo Royale
Poach eight small tamarillos that have been peeled and quartered lengthwise in a little sugar and water and 1/4 teasp chinese five spice, then drain.
In individual dessert bowls layer tamarillo with 1 cup of cream that has been whipped and has had 3 small meringues broken up into it.Top with a small meringue.
Dust with carob powder.
